Banana flower mashed

Ingredients:

Banana flower—1

Water—1 litre (for boiling)

Salt—to taste

Garlic—5 cloves (chopped finely)

Ginger—a 1-inch piece (chopped)

Onion—1 (finely chopped)

Long coriander—1 small bunch (finely chopped)

Green chillies—6 (chopped) or quantity as preferred

Red dry chilli—3 (dry roasted)

Mustard oil—1 tea spoon (raw)

Method:

Wash the banana flower

Remove the tough layers of bracts till you reach the heart of the banana flower. Peel from top to bottom, and before embarking on this cleaning process, you can rub a little oil in your palms as that will help you later to easily get rid of the black stains that form while cutting the banana flower.

You can put the whole banana flower or cut into half and put in the pressure cooker with water.

Place the pressure cooker on stove and wait for 8 to 10 whistles. Turn off stove and allow it to cool.

Once the pressure cooker is cool, take out the banana flower.

Mash the boiled banana flower with the ingredients. Serve with rice. The taste is so scrumptious that you will definitely plan to include this boiled mashed recipe in your regular menu.

কলডিলটো  ধুই ল’ব। ওপৰৰ বুঢ়া তৰপ কেইটা এৰুৱাই পেলাব । এতিয়া ১লিটাৰ পানী কুকাৰত দি তাতে গোটাই গোটাই কলডিলটো, নিমখ দি ৫|৭ টা সুহুৰি মৰাই নিজে ভাপ যাবলৈ দি কুকাৰৰ পৰা উলিয়াই ফুটা খৰাহিত থৈ চুব পৰাকৈ ঠাণ্ডা হ’বলৈ দিব । এতিয়া টুকুৰা কৰক আৰু মাজৰ দিল আৰু টান কাঁঠিবোৰ কাঢ়ি পেলাওঁক । এটা বাউলত সিদ্ধ কলডিল,থেতেলিয়াই লোৱা নহৰু -আদা ১চামুচকৈ,পিয়াজ এটা মিহিকৈ কটা,মিহিকৈ কটা মানধনিয়া এমুঠি,পুৰি লোৱা শুকান জলকীয়া তিনিটা,কেঁচা মিঠাতেল ১চামুচ,নিমখ সোৱাদ মতে দি ভালদৰে পিটিকি লওঁক । ইমান স্বাস্হ্যকৰ আৰু জুতিলগা পিটিকা ।সন্তানে নেখাওঁ নোবোলে ।
