Duwai Bhoja (a special snack)

Method of Preparation:

Same as Hurum. The only difference is that for Duwai bhoja, we do not need to roast the rice in sand, but in a Kadhai and while the roasted rice is still hot, pound it in the dheki till it becomes like flattened rice. This snack is popular amongst the members of the Ahom community, but more so amongst the Deodhai Phukon, Mahan and Bailung.
