Local Yellow Plum ice pops

Ingredients: (for three moulds)

Local yellow plums—10 or 15

Sugar—5 table spoon

Water—one and half cup

Vanilla essence—half tea spoon

Method:

Wash the yellow plums, cut into small pieces and discard the seeds. Take all the ingredients including the chopped plums and put them in the grinder. Sieve the content and pour into moulds and keep in deep freeze for 5 hours. When you take out the ice pops, you get a colourful, tasty and natural frozen delicacy. A point to be noted is that the present generation of Assam is ignorant about the benefits of local fruits. To make them aware about these local fruits, we can serve such ice pops made from the juices of indigenous fruits.
