Red ant eggs—half kg
Salt and turmeric—as per requirement
Mustard oil—as much required for frying
Green chilies—as per preference
Ginger garlic paste—1 table spoon
Coriander leaves chopped – a little
Method of preparation
Clean and wash the red ant eggs.
Place the kadhai on the stove. Heat mustard oil and add the onion, ginger garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes away. Now add the red ant eggs, salt, turmeric, chilly and stir well. Lower the flame and cover the kadhai. Once the red ant eggs get cooked, usually it will be in a few minutes, smash the eggs and mix well with the contents in the kadhai. Sprinkle coriander leaves before turning off the stove.
