Ripe Spanish Cherry (Bakul in Assamese) Sherbet

Ingredients:

Ripe Spanish Cherry—6

Sugar—one and half tea spoon

Salt—as per taste

Ice cubes—2

Lemon juice—1 tea spoon (optional)

Water—1 glass

Method:

Wash the ripe Spanish Cherries. Keep the flesh and discard the seeds. Put all the ingredients including the pulp of the fruit in the grinder. Sieve into a glass and serve.
